Blog Candy!

This is what I am calling "Box of Candy" I have a box here, about the size of a good paperback, that I filled with mostly Primas (some odd brand but 90% Prima) then squeezed in some ribbon, a stamp, a dual punch and some chipboard. This candy can be yours! All you need to do is to something easy... spread the word! Go to our challenge blog Design Dollies and take a look around(become a follower if you want to), then spread the word either on your blog (give us a shout out post, put up our blinkie etc) or on a message board you frequent. Then come on back and leave me a comment with your name and a link to how you got the word out. Who knows? This box might just grow if we get alot of people helpin out! This candy will be up for grabs until Jan 4th when the new DT members at the Dollies make their debut!

Howdy!

Busy busy week last week!

With the nice blow up of my old car we got all crazy with too many people and one car but last week we got us a new ride and some serenity returned this week. Lovin my new car! Its a 2004 Pontiac Aztek baby!!! WOOT! I've wanted one since Season 2 of Survivor when they debuted it as a prize at the end. That's the only season I ever watch but that car stuck with me. Now I have one LOL. I'll post pics soon!

Here in scrappy land the challenges continue. Design Dollies has hit the ground runnin! As a preview for my blogger buddies we are puttin out the "call" tomorrow. You know what I mean! Tune in then and check it out! Here's a few things I've done over there....

I love that last one the most! It was fun! Just a shout out... my pumpkins LO was done mostly with what I got in my October kit over at ScrapMuse. Melissa runs a tight ship and an awesome kit! Those flowers in particular (soooo awesome) came with the kit and were made for the kit by using DT memeber Tricia's cuts. She uses her cricut and SCAL and sells the cuts on her etsy. Check it out!

Well Dollies, I hope you have fun and much scrappy goodness! TFL! and don't forget to take advantage of my blog candy!

Happy Halloween!!!

I totally LOVE Halloween!!! I used to love getting dressed up (especially the scary make up!) but now really enjoy getting the kids dressed up! :) Esme had her Halloween/Harvest Party at preschool yesterday so as we were getting her costume all put together I managed to get a couple preview pics :)

Isn't she just SOOOO cute??!! Love her! Can you tell she's been sick? Poor Esme! She totally loves her butterfly wings. She can reach back and grab them then flapflapflap'em. Except the tutu everything is from the resale store :) So awesome!!!

That is one thing that came together this week amidst alot of things that didn't :P oh well. Hopefully things will turn out well. FINGERS CROSSED!

Here is my scrapiness for the week from over at Design Dollies. If you haven't gone over and checked it out you SOOOO NEED TO! Monday starts a new month of challenges so stop on by!

Ok.... I just LOVE the way that card turned out! Very fun!

I dig my mono-brown LO too :) I also posted a sketch for our Thursday challenge but I seem to have LOST my LO. I remember doing it. It was night so I couldn't get a good pic and now I can't find it.

That's the way this whole week has gone. Here's to hopin next week is better!!!

Sick Sick Sicky Sick

A nasty case of the sickys has taken up residence at my abode, putting a damper on EVERYTHING. There is this lovely head cold goin around (stuffy head, dry cough, runny nose sort of thing) that made its way home with Esme from school last week. Out of the last 4 days of school she has attended one. And that was picture day. She seemed much better but maybe over did as she kind relapsed Thursday.

Tiny man took up the gauntlet Tuesday and proved that croupe isn't just for kids under 2.

DH also looks like he is about to keel over.

I, on the other hand, while having a cold, are no where NEAR as bad as everyone else. No idea why but there ya go.

Taking care of everyone and still workin has put quite the damper on my mojo. :P Not only that but just got to go over the evaluation left by my now fired boss. Wow. I now know he really did hate me. It really makes me think about my job. If I didn't need the money I would be out of there. I need to get my heart back into it but after being beat down for a year and all the home bits its hard. We just got a new boss and I think he is just the man to turn things around! I'm gonna try and strut my stuff this holiday season and see if I can get the love back for my job. If I can't find it by the new year then I really need to reevaluate I think. Work just isn't satisfying anymore :(

But really. Enough musing and on to the crafty :)

I've got some goodies to share with you all from Design Dollies this week!

The first Challenge was brought to us by my friend Trixie. She gave us this lovely color combo:

And here was my LO

Next Adina challenged us to use 4 different patterned papers from at least 2 manufacturers. This card is one of my favs!

I have at least 4 different manufacturers in there, Sassafras (yellow polka dot), Basic Grey (blue under the sentiment), Crate Paper (the blue background) and Making Memories (the flower and maybe the green, not sure on the green... hmmm). The Stamp is Studio G by the by (yep still tryin to bring that back LOL).

Then lastly I threw down this weeks sketch:

And my LO featuring my now almost 2 1/2 year old son when he was SOOOOO TINY...

*sniff sniff* so tiny *sniff sniff*

You've got til Sunday at midnight to combine all three or for just the Color Challenge. Adina's Element Challenge is due by Monday at midnight and my humble Sketch Challenge is due by Wednesday at midnight :) I hope you'll give it a go and link it up! Tell your friends. We love to play with new Dollies!

Thanks for stoppin by!
